Black History Month, Februry 2012, will showcase the unique design features of the Western Texas College Planetarium where films representing the many voices of the African-American diaspora will be shown, wide-screen, using state-of-the-art technology and sound. Truth > Myth Panel Discussion
Friday, February 10th at 6PM, Scurry County Museum
Join us for a lively and interactive discussion of this year's Black History Month theme, Truth > Myth. Speakers will be Mr. Vernon Clay, Ms. Vernest Tippens, Ms. Florence Lewis and Mr. Zurn Jenkins. The event will coincide with the opening of the Truth > Myth Exhibit at the Scurry County Museum Friday, February 10th at 6PM.

The Scurry County Museum Truth > Myth Exhibit takes a closer look at Black history, both local and abroad, to gain a greater understanding of just how much truth IS greater than myth. The Exhibit opens with the Truth > Myth Panel Discussion
